Bethany Canning

 

 

I wrote this essay in my last semester of college as a reflection on my growth as a writer.  In writing my writer's evolution piece, I found themes of vulnerabiltity and challenge, and sought to reach an answer on why writing is important to me.  I was not always a writer and I claim to be now with the understanding that I will be improving throughout my whole life.  I look at writing now as an opportunity to more fully explore topics that important to me and maybe cause a few people to stop and think.
